ROCK & RUBBLE

Foam is an excellent medium to duplicate rock, cave, asphalt, cement, brick and general rubble and destruction.

Examples shown are generally sets where I was part of a sculptor team. Large productions tend to have tight deadlines and require group cooperation.  In these instances, sculptors are partnered in teams of 2 to cut and shape the foam.  Usually the foam is then sent to plaster and finished by painters and set decorators.  Union work is always divided into specialized trades this way. Many of these photos are examples of this team set construction.  My intent here is not to say I am solely responsible for the work shown, but that i am fully capable to produce any of this given a long enough timeline!
